Privacy Policy

This policy covers both the fomo.fast website and the Fomo Fast iOS app. Fomo Fast is a digital-wellbeing app built by an independent developer. If anything here is unclear, email support@fomo.fast and you'll get an answer from a human.

The short version

Fomo Fast has no accounts, no login, no ads, no analytics SDKs, and no tracking, so you'll never see an App Tracking Transparency prompt. Your fasting data lives on your device, and the apps you choose to limit are handled entirely by Apple's Screen Time system; we never see them. There are two narrow cases where data does leave your device (subscription processing and Lock Screen Live Activities), and each is described honestly below.

Data stored on your device

The app stores your fasting plan, daily records, streaks, and your onboarding answers (name, age range, self-reported screen time, and your goal) locally on your device, inside the app and its App Group container. This data is not uploaded anywhere. Deleting the app deletes it.

Screen Time and the apps you select

Fomo Fast uses Apple's Family Controls / Screen Time framework. When you pick which apps to limit, you do so in Apple's own private picker. What the app receives back is an opaque token: Fomo Fast never learns which apps you selected, and it never sees your app usage history. Shields, thresholds, and all enforcement happen on your device through Apple's system services.

Subscriptions

Purchases are processed by Apple through your App Store account; we never see your payment details. To know whether your subscription is active, the app uses RevenueCat, a subscription-management service. RevenueCat receives purchase and receipt information along with device identifiers, tied to an anonymous app-user ID, not your name or email (which we don't have anyway). Lock Screen Live Activities

If you start a Live Activity on your Lock Screen, the app needs a small server round-trip to keep it updated. It sends an Apple push token and the activity's display state (the fasting phase, the countdown end time, localized text, and your streak count) to our server function (hosted on Supabase), solely to start and update the Live Activity via Apple's push service. No other personal data is included, and nothing is sent if you don't use Live Activities.

The fomo.fast website

The website is a static site hosted on Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel keeps standard server logs as part of its normal operation. The site itself loads Google Analytics only if you accept it in the cookie banner — decline and no analytics script runs and no analytics cookie is written. There is no third-party ad tech either way. Details are in the Cookie Policy.

The website no longer collects email addresses: the pre-launch waitlist form was removed when Fomo Fast launched on the App Store. If you joined the old waitlist and want your address deleted, email support@fomo.fast and we'll take care of it.

Deleting your data

• App data: delete the app from your device. Everything stored locally goes with it.
• Old waitlist entry: if you signed up before launch, email support@fomo.fast and we'll remove it.
• Subscription records: managed by Apple and RevenueCat under their own policies; the anonymous ID means these records aren't linked to your name or email.

Children

Fomo Fast is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country), and we don't knowingly collect data from them.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date. Meaningful changes won't be buried: the page you're reading is the single source of truth.
