This page covers the fomo.fast website only. The Fomo Fast iOS app contains no analytics SDK and no tracking of any kind — that is described in the Privacy Policy.

What we use

The website uses one optional analytics tool: Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-K8N12NNCLD). It tells us which pages and articles people actually read, so we know what is worth writing next. It records things like the page visited, an approximate country, the referring site, and the device type.

Nothing loads before you accept

Google Analytics is not requested at all until you press Accept in the cookie banner. If you decline, or simply ignore the banner, no analytics script is loaded and no analytics cookie is written. Your choice is stored in your browser's local storage — not sent anywhere.

If you accept, Google Analytics sets its own cookies (_ga and _ga_*) to tell repeat visits apart. They expire after two years and never leave Google's systems in a form that identifies you by name. IP addresses are anonymised by Google before storage.

Strictly necessary

Our host, Vercel, keeps standard server logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL) as part of running any website. Those logs are not cookies and cannot be switched off.
